TRUST IN THE LORD TODAY!

Proverbs 16:20 (Pro 16:20 It pays to take life seriously; things work out when you trust in GOD).
Good as it is to “handle a matter wisely,” it is far better to “trust in the Lord.” The former is really impossible except through the latter.
Prudence gains men respect and success: He that handles a matter wisely (that is master of his trade and makes it to appear he understands what he undertakes, that is considerate in his affairs, and, when he speaks or writes on any subject, does it pertinently) shall find good, shall come into good repute, and perhaps may make a good hand of it.
But it is piety only that will secure men's true happiness: Those that handle a matter wisely, if they are proud and lean to their own understanding, though they may find some good, yet they will have no great satisfaction in it; but he that trusts in the Lord, and not in his own wisdom, happy is he, and shall speed better at last. Some read the former part of the verse so as to expound it of piety, which is indeed true wisdom: He that attends to the word (the word of God, Pro_13:13) shall find good in it and good by it. And whoso trusts in the Lord, in his word which he attends to, is happy.
Pro 13:13 Ignore the Word and suffer; honor God's commands and grow rich.
the word — that is, of advice, or, instruction (compare Pro_10:27; Pro_11:31).
Whoever despises the Word shall be destroyed.(Man’s destruction)
The more literal rendering would be, “He that despises the Word shall bring ruin on himself.” This is a great law of the Biblical revelation—namely, that destruction is not a merely arbitrary act on the part of God, a mere penalty, but that it involves the idea of suicide or self-ruin. The law of reward and also the law of punishment are to be found within ourselves. (J. Parker, D.D.)

He will sort His sheep from the goats.

John 5:22-23 For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which hath sent him.
It tells us in Matthew 25:31-32 When our Lord Jesus comes with all the holy angels with him, he will sit on the throne of His glory and all the nations will be gathered before Him and He will sort His sheep from the goats.
You and I are His sheep, and the goats represent all unbelievers and those who love and practice sin. We are at a time in our Churches when judgement is not talked about because the fear of God is not considered important any more. You and I who walk with God must like Paul be aware of the terror of the Lord and what is going to happen to most of our friends and neighbors who are unbelievers unless they repent and turn to Christ Jesus.
Secondly we are told we should honor the Son just as the father is honored. The reason is because the Son has been given the authority to sit on the great white throne of judgement, and we must recognize He is equal to the Father. This means that we equally give honor to the Son as we give honor to the Father. And God the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus is the only way to the Father, and no one goes to the Father accept through Him.
Prayer: Thank you our Father God for showing us the importance of giving honor to your son our Savior and recognizing that He will sit on the great white throne to judge the world. That your will be done and your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

BOOK - FLYING AS AN EAGLE
Flying as an Eagle; By Disciple John
It all started in September 1918 and the place was a house on a farm near a canal at Cambridgeshire England. Simon Drake a young man of 14 years just finished at local school.
I went to bed as normal that September evening as soon as it got dark and I read something out of my Bible by candle light.
Mathew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
The words seemed to be highlighted, and stand out from all the words around them. I thought these are the words of God the Son, Jesus Christ, and if they are true, then why is the world not being changed? Why is there so much poverty and hardship. Why do we have the workhouse and people begging on the streets in the cities.
THAT NIGHT AS HE WAS VISITED BY AN ANGLE SENT BY GOD:
It was as I slept that night I had a dream and in that dream I was sat on my bed in my room, when a person appeared in front
of me who was in a white gown and was shinning brightly, and lit up the room. I knew that i should not be frightened, and he called me by name and said "Simon, do not be afraid as I come from God to tell you that you are the vessel God is going to use
to show His love for the world. When you wake up I want you to visit Silas Brown who lives in a house in Littleport in the High Street and he works as a cobbler."
That started Simon Drake training as a Servant of God and then full of the Holy Ghost power from God, using mighty signs and wonders obeying and serving God.
THE WORD OF GOD CHANGES YOUR LIFE
Proverbs 4 vs 20-27
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings (MY WORDS).
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Proverbs 4:20-27
Solomon, having warned us not to do evil, here teaches us how to do well. It is not enough for us to shun the occasions of sin, but we must study the methods of duty.
I. We must have a continual regard to the word of God and endeavor that it may be always ready to us.
1. The sayings of wisdom must be our principles by which we must govern ourselves, our monitors to warn us of duty and danger; and therefore, (1.) We must receive them readily: “Incline thy ear to them (Pro_4:20); humbly bow to them; diligently listen to them.” The attentive hearing of the word of God is a good sign of a work of grace begun in the heart and a good means of carrying it on. It is to be hoped that those are resolved to do their duty who are inclined to know it. (2.) We must retain them carefully (Pro_4:21); we must lay them before us as our rule: “Let them not depart from thy eyes; view them, review them, and in every thing aim to conform to them.” We must lodge them within us, as a commanding principle, the influences of which are diffused throughout the whole man: “Keep them in the midst of thy heart, as things dear to thee, and which thou art afraid of losing.” Let the word of God be written in the heart, and that which is written there will remain.
2. The reason why we must thus make much of the words of wisdom is because they will be both food and physic to us, like the tree of life, Rev_22:2; Eze_47:12. Those that seek and find them, find and keep them, shall find in them, (1.) Food: For they are life unto those that find them, Pro_4:22. As the spiritual life was begun by the word as the instrument of it, so by the same word it is still nourished and maintained. We could not live without it; we may by faith live upon it. (2.) Physic. They are health to all their flesh, to the whole man, both body and soul; they help to keep both in good plight. They are health to all flesh, so the Septuagint. There is enough to cure all the diseases of this dis-tempered world. They are a medicine to all their flesh (so the word is), to all their corruptions, for they are called flesh, to all their grievances, which are as thorns in the flesh. There is in the word of God a proper remedy for all our spiritual maladies.
II. We must keep a watchful eye and a strict hand upon all the motions of our inward man, Pro_4:23. Here is, 1. A great duty required by the laws of wisdom, and in order to our getting and preserving wisdom: Keep thy heart with all diligence. God, who gave us these souls, gave us a strict charge with them: Man, woman, keep thy heart; take heed to thy spirit, Deu_4:9. We must maintain a holy jealousy of ourselves, and set a strict guard, accordingly, upon all the avenues of the soul; keep our hearts from doing hurt and getting hurt, from being defiled by sin and disturbed by trouble; keep them as our jewel, as our vineyard; keep a conscience void of offence; keep out bad thoughts; keep up good thoughts; keep the affections upon right objects and in due bounds. Keep them with all keeping (so the word is); there are many ways of keeping things - by care, by strength, by calling in help, and we must use them all in keeping our hearts; and all little enough, so deceitful are they, Jer_17:9. Or above all keeping; we must keep our hearts with more care and diligence than we keep any thing else. We must keep our eyes (Job_31:1), keep our tongues (Psa_34:13), keep our feet (Ecc_5:1), but, above all, keep our hearts. 2. A good reason given for this care, because out of it are the issues of life. Out of a heart well kept will flow living issues, good products, to the glory of God and the edification of others. Or, in general, all the actions of the life flow from the heart, and therefore keeping that is making the tree good and healing the springs. Our lives will be regular or irregular, comfortable or uncomfortable, according as our hearts are kept or neglected.
III. We must set a watch before the door of our lips, that we offend not with out tongue (Pro_4:24): Put away from thee a froward mouth and perverse lips. Our hearts being naturally corrupt, out of them a great deal of corrupt communication is apt to come, and therefore we must conceive a great dread and detestation of all manner of evil words, cursing, swearing, lying, slandering, brawling, filthiness, and foolish talking, all which come from a froward mouth and perverse lips, that will not be governed either by reason or religion, but contradict both, and which are as unsightly and ill-favored before God as a crooked distorted mouth drawn awry is before men. All manner of tongue sins, we must, by constant watchfulness and steadfast resolution, put from us, put far from us, abstaining from all words that have an appearance of evil and fearing to learn any such words.
IV. We must make a covenant with our eyes: “Let them look right on and straight before thee, Pro_4:25. Let the eye be fixed and not wandering; let it not rove after every thing that presents itself, for then it will be diverted form good and ensnared in evil. Turn it from beholding vanity; let thy eye be single and not divided; let thy intentions be sincere and uniform, and look not asquint at any by-end.” We must keep our eye upon our Master, and be careful to approve ourselves to him; keep our eye upon our rule, and conform to that; keep our eye upon our mark, the prize of the high calling, and direct all towards that. Oculum in metam - The eye upon the goal.
V. We must act considerately in all we do (Pro_4:26): Ponder the path of thy feet, weigh it (so the word is); “put the word of God in one scale, and what thou hast done, or art about to do, in the other, and see how they agree; be nice and critical in examining whether thy way be good before the Lord and whether it will end well.” We must consider our past ways and examine what we have done, and our present ways, what we are doing, whither we are going, and see that we walk circumspectly. It concerns us to consider what are the duties and what the difficulties, what are the advantages and what the dangers, of our way, that we may act accordingly. “Do nothing rashly.”
VI. We must act with steadiness, caution, and consistency: “Let all thy ways be established (Pro_4:26) and be not unstable in them, as the double-minded man is; halt not between two, but go on in an even uniform course of obedience; turn not to the right hand not to the left, for there are errors on both hands, and Satan gains his point if he prevails to draw us aside either way. Be very careful to remove thy foot from evil; take heed of extremes, for in them there is evil, and let thy eyes look right on, that you may keep the golden mean.” Those that would approve themselves wise must always be watchful.

As soon as we trust in Jesus we are viewed as standing in Him and Justified
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned - In Adam, and in their own persons; by a sinful nature, sinful tempers, and sinful actions. And are fallen short of the glory of God - The supreme end of man; short of his image on earth, and the enjoyment of him in heaven.
John 3:20
That does evil - Every wicked person.
Hates the light - This is true of all wicked men. They choose to practice their deeds of wickedness in darkness. They are afraid of the light, because they could be easily detected. Hence, most crimes are committed in the night. So with the sinner against God. He hates the gospel, for it condemns his conduct, and his conscience would trouble him if it were enlightened.
His deeds should be reproved - To “reprove” here means not only to “detect” or make manifest, but also includes the idea of “condemnation” when his deeds are detected. The gospel would make his wickedness manifest, and his conscience would condemn him. We learn from this verse:
1. that one design of the gospel is “to reprove” men. It convicts them of sin in order that it may afford consolation.
2. that men by nature “hate” the gospel. No man who is a sinner loves it; and no man by nature is disposed to come to it, any more than an adulterer or thief is disposed to come to the daylight, and do his deeds of wickedness there.
3. The reason why the gospel, is hated is that men are sinners. “Christ is hated because sin is loved.”
4. The sinner must be convicted or convinced of sin. If it be not in this world, it will be in the next. There is no escape for him; and the only way to avoid condemnation in the world to come is to come humbly and acknowledge sin here, and seek for pardon.
All Freely Justified by Grace
Rom_3:21-31
From the universal need the Apostle turns to the all-sufficient remedy. The Law and the Prophets hinted dimly at justification by faith, but did not unveil it. God’s way of justification is to impute righteousness to the believer. He places us in that position in law, before proceeding by the Holy Spirit to bring us into the condition of holiness. The perfect day is imputed to the dawn, the perfect flower to the seed, the finished picture to the crude sketch. As soon as we trust in Jesus we are viewed as standing in Him and justified before the Law; but before us lies the great work of assimilation to His perfect likeness by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
It is sin to come short, Rom_3:23; and who among us has fulfilled his possibilities of godlikeness? Rom_3:24; Gen_1:26-27. Though justification costs us nothing but the sacrifice of our pride, it has cost Christ His own blood, Rom_3:25. The propitiatory, or mercy seat, was the golden lid of the Ark which the high priest sprinkled with blood. See Heb_9:5. Faith has no room in her household for vaunting and boasting, Rom_3:27. The Law is best honored when the Lawgiver, dwelling within us, fulfills it through us.

You need to talk to him now while you have this opportunity.
Only through faith in Christ alone is there hope.

THE WORD AND THE TRUTH
I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD ....YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME
YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FOR YOURSELVES AN IDOL
YOU SHALL NOT MISUSE THE NAME OF THE LORD YOUR GOD
REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY BY KEEPING IT HOLY (BECAUSE I AM HOLY)
HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER
YOU SHALL NOT MURDER
YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY
YOU SHALL NOT STEAL
YOU SHALL NOT GIVE FALSE TESTIMONY
YOU SHALL NOT COVET....ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO YOUR NEIGHBOR
WHEN ASKED WHAT WAS THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT,JESUS REFERRED TO THEM:
"LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND." AND THE SECOND IS LIKE IT: "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." MATH 22:37-39
John 8:47
He that is of God, hears God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God.
This applies to the whole 66 books of the Bible which are the TRUTH and the word of Almighty God. Are we hungry for the word of God? Does it stir the Spirit within us when the word goes forth? Perhaps it is time to examine ourselves and see if we need to get right with God.
It is possible that the person could not understand the preacher, if they or he were foreign. It could be that the person not listening gladly because their mind is on problems at home. If consistently a person was not receiving the word gladly, then we need to pray for that person that they will be convicted by the Holy Spirit. I know it was in listening to the word of God, when I was convicted of sin and saved. I know there is great power in the word of God.
Quote from Billy Graham: "One of the greatest tragedies today is that, although the Bible is an available open book, it is a closed book to millions---- either because they leave it unread or because they read it with without applying its teachings to their lives. No greater tragedy can befall a man or a nation than that of paying lip service to a Bible left unread or to a way of life not followed."
Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father who we love and adore, thank you for your word to us that we should also want to listen to the word of God that your will be done and your kingdom come. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Love’s Great Gift: Received or Rejected (John 3 v 16-21)
John3:16 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son (JESUS), His one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
John 3:17 God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
John 3:18 Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted;
anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.
John 3:19 "This is the crisis we're in: God-light streamed into the world, but men and women everywhere ran for the darkness. They went for the darkness because they were not really interested in pleasing God.
John 3:20 Everyone who makes a practice of doing evil, addicted to denial and illusion, hates God-light and won't come near it, fearing a painful exposure.
John 3:21 But anyone working and living in truth and reality welcomes God's-light so the work can be seen for the God-work it is."
John 3:9-21
Love’s Great Gift: Received or Rejected
John 3:9-21
Though physically on earth, our Lord was spiritually in touch with the heavenly realities. He was living among them and bore witness to them. Notice that must, John_3:14. He was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and the divine purpose of redemption would fail unless He fulfilled His part in the eternal compact. That which had been resolved upon before the foundations of the hills were laid must be carried out in all its terrible detail. He must be accounted as a sin offering, and go forth as a scapegoat. He must tread the wine-press alone, and pour out His soul unto death. Yet He was not rebellious, nor did He turn back. He rejoiced to do the Father’s will. For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the Cross.
Redemption originated in God’s great love. Notice the pairs in John_3:16 : God and the Son; loved and gave; the world and whosoever; believe and have; not perish but have life. The judgment is already in process, and the turning point with each who has known the gospel will be his attitude toward the light he has enjoyed. Evil men avoid the light, as an inflamed eye the sun. No true heart fears Christ, and on coming to Him it discovers that unconsciously it has been wrought upon by God.

Testimony
Thursday 23rd 2011 June, my wife Pat and I attended a Church hall in Peterborough where they feed the hungry and I was asked o give them a message before they were fed.
Before they came I prayed to God the Holy Spirit to come and convict of sin, righteousness and judgement. John 16:8
We are still amazed what God did in that meeting because I was speaking slowly through a Christian lady interpreter.
It was a very challenging message that God knows about all the commandments we have broken, and we are heading for hell unless we turn to Christ. I said that just like the security cameras watching us everywhere, God knows everything we have done said and thought. we need to repent of any sin and also have Lord Jesus in our lives. John 1:12 and 2 Corinthians 13:5.
When I ask those who wanted to start a new life with God, first two stood, then three more, then all stood, 30 to 40 men, mostly Slavonic and a few Russian and all homeless the poor of our land.
Lord Jesus gave the good news to the poor and I was privileged to do the same. There were so many it was not possible to pray individually so it was a sinners prayer interpreted for all to repeat.
The person who invited me is still talking of the amazing response. The ladies who were helping with the interpretation were clearly thrilled and talked to the men about the times of meetings at the Slavonic Church they held there, and also issued New Testaments in their own language.
God was glorified and we are so privileged and thankful. Our prayer is that these men will all go on to serve God in a mighty way and live fruitful lives.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen!
God wants to show you that He really does love you; He cares about you so much that He wants to meet you in every area of need in your life. He wants you to be free of anger, guilt and doubt.
He wants to change you for the better from the inside out. He wants you to be free to love Him, to pray with faith, knowing that your prayers will be answered.
Jesus Christ is the gift of God, the richest token of God’s love, the source and fountain of those living waters, the graces of the Holy Spirit which satisfy the thirsting soul and make a life overflowing with goodness. Those who come face to face with their own helplessness and sin and give their hearts to Him will be the recipients of these living waters.
Living water, Joh_4:10.
Joh_4:10, Joh_4:14, Joh_4:23, Joh_4:24.
Joh_4:29. The divine knowledge of Jesus proves His omniscience. Jesus knows the thoughts, words and actions of all the children of men, and by the power of His Words is still revealing to men the secret sins of their hearts.

If you didn't pray this prayer (THE SINNERS PRAYER) then the you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord Therefore the alternative;
1. stay as you are, in your sin without a Savior, or bury your head in the sand;
( Having heard the gospel you now are responsible to God, that you have chosen not to take this life's (NARROW WAY) opportunity to eternal life to save yourself through Christ atoning death on a cross, but to stand condemned as you are with no excuse and are on the BROAD WAY pathway which leads to staying in your sin which the Bible says leads to eternal death in Hell!)
2. Sin and selfishness spoil our lives. They spread like weeds in a garden. Worst of all they separate us from God. This is why God seems remote and irrelevant. He is pure and holy and hates all sin. It blocks the way to Him. Sin cuts us off from God both now and in the life to come.
Be quite clear about this; hell is a grim and dreadful reality for all who reject Jesus Christ in this life. Can you imagine an eternal life without any goodness in it at all, that's what Hell is.
3. What are you going to do about it? You cannot remove the barrier. You cannot save yourself.
Trying to help others and doing good cannot remove this barrier either. If sin results in our being cut off from God, is there no hope for us? Has God washed his hands of us?
4. The full punishment for our sin was taken by Jesus. As a man once put it, 'He carried the can for everybody.' Jesus suffered the agony of being cut off from His Father for us.
Just before He died, Jesus said, 'It is finished!' This is not a cry of defeat, 'I've had it!' No, it was a cry of victory, 'I've done it! The debt of man's sin is paid.' The way back to God is now open.
His work of saving you from hell and eternal destruction is finished. The barrier of sin has been blasted away. Jesus died for us, His body was put in the tomb and a great stone pushed across the entrance. But He rose from the grave - many saw Him and witnessed His ascension -He is alive.
He won the victory over sin and death. The way to God remains wide open if you believe and accept Him! Then Pray now the 'Sinners Prayer' before it is too late for you!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man can come unto the Father, but by me". (John 14:6)
Nobody else can save you!

THE POWER OF LOVE
A violent, deranged criminal finds that love conquers evil.
By the age of 28, Australian David Harris had spent half his life taking drugs and alcohol. From age of 14, he was involved in drug dealing, theft and the violence of the underworld.
When he was caught, he served five years in prison, including time in a ward for the criminally insane.
"Emotionally," says David, "I was broken, confused, tormented, fill of fear, lonely and scared." His mental state was exacerbated by involvement in the occult.
It was while attempting to avoid jail that David had delved into the supernatural. He used Ouija-boards and listened to 'spirit guides' - voices that he now believes were demonic.
Realizing that there was a spiritual element in the world, David began reading occult books and trying things such as astral travel while he was imprisoned. He recalls: "These experiences were exciting to begin with, but ended with pain, torment and terror.
"But while in jail I realized the most powerful force in the world is love. I saw that what kept other prisoners going was the love of their families and friends, not hate or violence.
"Through this process I realized that there must be a God and explored different spiritual paths, such as Buddhism and living in an ashram. I found that Buddhism didn't answer all my questions, or meet my deepest spiritual needs, so I kept seeking."
When David got out of prison, he contacted a former prisoner he had met who had been a professional hit man, to ask him to murder a rival drug dealer.
When he arrived at my house I was shocked to see that he was a new person," David remembers.
"The man I knew from prison was egoistical, cocky and arrogant.
But this man was now gentle, humble, kind and he spoke about God to me. He invited me to go to his farm in New South Wales. When he arrived there, he started reading the Bible to me, which caused me to shake uncontrollably. I realized that this was the truth and that I needed this God."
David already believed that love was more powerful than violence, drugs and his old way of life, and now found that the love
of God, who came to earth in Jesus to give His life for us, was the
most powerful. In David's words: "God has helped heal my heart and enabled me to find the love of my Father in Heaven."
From then on, his life started to change. "Now my mind has been
restored and renewed," he says. "I feel content, loved, accepted, valued and that I belong. I now enjoy life, having a purpose, helping other people and seeing their lives restored as they encounter the love of God."
No longer hooked on drugs or alcohol, and set free from the dark powers of the occult, David now pastors a church in Victoria.
And he's a married father to two children. He says: I didn't have
the capacity to look after a dog before God came into my life!
"Now through God's help I have the ability to look after a family
and be responsible for a great thriving church.
"It is the choices you make today that determine your future,"
David says. "There is hope. You do not have to be a victim of
the labels you've been given.
"Change is not only possible, it is the heartbeat of an amazing God who loves you and desires you to be empowered to live life to the full, a life of true freedom, Spirit Soul and Body."

A TRUE STORY BY ANDY ACAMON
A True story of how God entered and changed my life. Just 20 years ago people knew me as a tough and violent person. You may not have been as bad as I was, but you do need the living Jesus Christ, and He could change your life, too!
I was born in Oulton Broad near Lowestoft England. I come from a family of five children, having two brothers and sisters, a Spanish father and an English mother. I was brought up with very little discipline and in my early teens started getting into trouble with the police. At around the age of fourteen I was sent to a Remand Home for riding motorbikes under age and at the age of fifteen I was back in court for the same offence, but this time I received a sentence of up to three years in Kerrison Approved School in Suffolk. At first I was bullied and pushed around but soon I learned to look after myself and became known as a fighter. After serving around nineteen months I was released but soon after I was back in court this time on assault
charges.
I was then sent to North Sea Detention Center near Boston for three months. After everything I had been through, I came out a hardened man and continued with my life of crime. I thought nothing of lying, cheating
and stealing, and would do anything for my own gain. In 1968 I married my wife Janet and had a son. My wife wanted him christened but I wouldn't set foot in a church for any reason. I became a bouncer at a seedy nightclub in town and then became a tattoo artist. My wife had always wanted another child but seventeen years went by before we had a baby daughter. Once again my wife wanted to have our new born christened but this led to several arguments, in the end I agreed. At the time I was having a speed boat built, and when I went over to the boat yard the men who worked there had to shut ther doors so ther women could not hear my filthy language. One day I was talking about my wife wanting the baby christened
when one of the men at the boat yard asked me to go along to his church.
He told me that they did dedications instead of christenings. Well, we went along one Sunday morning and continued to attend each week. By the time my daughter was dedicated to the Lord on her first birthday, the Lord had started to work in my heart. As the gospel was preached I gradually realized that God had sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and that I had to ask Him to forgive me and come into my life.
One Sunday afternoon in November 1986 I cried out to the Lord Jesus for mercy and asked Him to save me from eternal damnation. From then on my life changed. I found that I could not swear or do any of the things I had been doing. A few weeks later I stopped tattooing because I knew this was not what He wanted me to do.
What had changed? I agreed with God that I am , a sinner. I accepted that Jesus' death on the cross was the only way I could get those sins removed. He did that to give me a new life in Him, eternal life that will last forever. I did not become religious but found a person, God's only Son who loved me and wanted me to be His. He promised never to let me go! Even if I let Him down I am in His safe hands. The Bible says... "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."(2 Corinthians ch.5 v 17)
Now I live each day for my Lord and Savior who suffered and died for me so that I could have my sins forgiven and receive eternal life, I am now 'born again' I have eternal life, and through the Grace of God I am going to heaven. Would you also like to go there?
"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."
(Ephesians ch 2 v 8)
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John ch 3 v 16)
Where do we go from here?
Recently, and for some time, there has been much discussion on TV and radio about the mystery
of out-of-the-body experiences. People who have been on the point of death, but have been revived, describe how they apparently left their bodies, so that they could see their bodies, seemingly lifeless, below them. When you die your spirit or soul - which is the real you - will leave your body as an empty shell and, if you are born again, go to live in heaven with the One who has saved you. But if you rely upon your own merit, then you are not born again and you will come under judgement and will be sentenced to everlasting punishment.
Do you know where you are going?
All who want to go to heaven "Must be Born Again."
Jesus talked about heaven, and He said, "In my Father's House are many mansions." Also He said "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me." (John ch 14 v 2,6.)
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only Savior there is. If Jesus is right (and He most certainly is),
then all other ways are wrong! Religions are a waste of time; they cannot save you, only Jesus can, God did not create the religions of the world; man did, to satisfy his conscience! Man is "forever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2 Timothy ch 3 v 7)
This is not Religion, it is Life!
Do you know the one who died on the cross for you?
When Jesus came He told us something that no religion has ever thought of, and which contradicts
the basic principle of all religions. He said, "Except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God." (John ch 3 v 3). Jesus said that He is the only way to God the Father, and the new birth is the only way to heaven. What did He mean?
He meant a spiritual birth whereby a person is able to confess his sins to Jesus Christ, accept Him as Savior, and receiver a new life. This is the Gospel.
Look and Live. Out of Religion, and into Christ!
May we offer this prayer as your first step?
TO BECOME A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN
"Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you died for me.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner.
Please come into my life and forgive my sins.
And save me. Amen."

RULER OF OUR LIVES
The Bible makes it clear that God will settle for nothing less than being Ruler of our lives.
"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord', and rightly so, for that is what I am" John 13:13
Believing in Jesus means that we must turn away from what we know to be wrong so as to turn to a way of life that seeks to please God. We put our trust in Jesus, believing that what He has done is enough to bring us to God.
'Thomas said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed" John 20:28-29
However, Jesus not only invites us to believe in Him but warns us too. If we choose to disobey Him and disbelieve what He has done, we are still separated from God and will have to bear the punishment for our own wrongs.
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath (anger) remains on him" John 3:36-67
If you believe in Jesus and would like Him to be the Ruler of your life, in every department 100%
commitment now. Why not talk to Him about it today?
PRAYER:
LORD JESUS
I WANT TO KNOW YOU IN A PERSONAL WAY. I'M SORRY FOR IGNORING YOU, DISOBEYING YOU AND LIVING MY LIFE MY OWN WAY. PLEASE COME INTO MY LIFE AS MY SAVIOR AND LORD. HELP ME TO LOVE AND OBEY YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. AMEN!
Now pray the Lord's Prayer:
Our Father who art in Heaven Hallowed be thy name,
thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread and
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil,
For thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory,
Forever and ever Amen.
Turning to Jesus must be accompanied by a desire to obey God. You must be willing to:
This is only the start of a relationship with God.
Tell another Christian about it so they can offer you support.
We recommend that you:

- Turn away from anything which displeases God surrendering the rule of your life to Christ.
2. Set out to live in such a way that will please Him.
3. Continue to trust that what Christ did on the Cross was enough to take the punishment on your behalf. If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Bible (His Word) promises you will have eternal life.
'Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God' John 1:12

"YES YOU CAN KNOW JESUS PERSONALLY AND INTIMATELY!"
Jesus has already made the way possible for you to have a personal and intimate relationship with Him.
He has already made a way for you to be forgiven and delivered from your sins so that you can go to Heaven and have eternal life.
Jesus made the way for you and me to be forgiven and get to Heaven by dying on the cross for our sins,
He took your punishment and then rose from the dead, that you might choose to rise up from your sinful
life and have new life in Jesus and follow Him into eternal life ever after.
There is only one way, one door through which we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus said: "I am the door by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved."
Jesus is the only way to the Father; Thomas said to Him, "Lord we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way/" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life, No-one comes to the Father except through me.(John 14v6)
But first you must trust totally upon God's mercy.
You can not depend on your "good works" to gain entrance into Heaven. As far as God is concerned we are all sinners. "There is none righteous, no not one... For all have sinned, and come/or fall short of the glory of God."
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. (John.3vs16,17)
The Master's hand is the only hand that can transform the soul.(the mind the willpower and the emotions) This very moment the Lord Jesus Christ is waiting to turn your darkness into day, your sorrow into joy.
Hear His call: "Come now, and let us reason together.... Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." Have more wonderful words ever been spoken? God wants to cleanse your life from sin and give you a new life of hope and joy. He does not ask you to change your life yourself. He asks you to come to Him just as you are. His Word promises: "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."
COME to Him confessing your sins. He has said, "Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
John 6:37. Repentance is absolutely necessary for Salvation.
TRUST Him to forgive your sins through the merits of His atonement for your sins on the cross at Calvary.
His word says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
You may be tempted to think that your sins are too great for God to forgive you. Do not look at your sins or your feelings. Look only to the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe what God has said, "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Then in simple faith TRUST Him to be your Saviour, John 1:12, "As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." RECEIVE Him as
your Saviour by simple trust in His promise.
The next step is to CONFESS to someone that you are now a Christian - that the Lord Jesus Christ is your Saviour, and that you belong to Him. When you do this sincerely, you will find
assurance, and peace
and joy coming into your heart. Read Rom 10: 9,10.
READ your Bible every day. Have regularly times for prayer every day (this prayer is simple talking to your loving Saviour and Lord, communicating your love and need of Him in your life and He will reveal more of Himself to you in your new found relationship). Go to services where you will meet other Christians who have done the same as you repented and confessed and have received the Lord Jesus into their Hearts and lives. Also you can find their friendship and help in your new life in Jesus.

Pray from your heart and cry out to God as your life depends on it;

MAKE ME A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST JESUS AND GIVE ME POWER IN MY LIFE TO LIVE FOR THEE AND SERVE THEE. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY. AMEN"

HIS ONE MISTAKE!
He always made it into the office.
He kept up with the news.
The doctors examined him twice a year.
He knew a few jokes.
He ate lots of fresh fruit, (five a day).
He played football on Sunday mornings.
He slept at least 8 hours every night.
He never smoked, drunk much or lost his temper.
He took healthy walks where there was clean air.
He kept himself clean,
He did his daily exercises.
He was all set to live to be a hundred. 60,70,80,90,100.
The funeral will be held on Thursday.
HIS ONE MISTAKE?
He forgot God, lived as if this world was all, and is now with those who say, "The harvest is past, the summer is ended and we are not saved." (Jeremiah 8v20)
Dear friends, are you making this mistake? It certainly isn't necessary.
The Bible (Gods Word to us) says, "That if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10v9)
For what does it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8v36)
Only through faith in Christ alone is there hope.
PRAY NOW to Jesus Christ who died to save you.
REPENT OF ALL YOUR SINS turn away from them - to God. Whatever it costs - heaven is cheap at any cost!
Life is short. ETERNITY IS FOREVER!
LORD JESUS YOU DIED FOR MY SINS AT CALVARY,
CLEANSE ME OF ALL MY SINS BY THE POWER OF YOUR BLOOD, COME INTO MY LIFE
AND HELP ME TO FOLLOW YOU FOR THE REST OF MY DAYS,AND I ASK YOU TO COME INTO MY HEART AND LIFE AS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR. IN YOUR PRECIOUS NAME
AMEN.
