THE LAW OF THE CROSS
(Read John 12:20-26)
Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces
much grain. - John 12:24
The principle that the Lord Jesus taught in John 12:24 about a grain of wheat dying before it can produce fruit was fully expressed in His own death on a cross and resurrection from death.
We too need to live each day by this law of the cross - HVL.
Grains of wheat produce a harvest
When they're planted in the soil;
Once we die to self, we'll harvest
Fruit eternal from our toil. - Sper
A buried seed bears fruit; A selfless life reaps an eternal harvest.
Do you want to accept Jesus as your Savior? How do you receive God's gift of forgiveness and eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. He bought it for you by dying on the cross.
1.Turn from all you know to be wrong.
2. Put your faith in Jesus the Savior.
3. Be willing to receive what God wants to give you.
4. Put Jesus first and in charge of the rest of your life.
5. Say the Prayer to God; the choice is yours now! All you have to do is ask Him!
Life is short. ETERNITY IS FOREVER! Pray now the sinners prayer:
Lord Jesus,
I'm sorry for the wrong things in my life,
Thank you for dying on the cross to pay
for my forgiveness.
I'm putting my trust in you as my Savior.
I surrender my life to you as my Lord,
and ask you to help me live a life that
pleases you. AMEN!
